EGYPT. Marsa Alam. December 29th, 2013. A large school of Anthias, commonly known as Sea Goldies (sp. pseudanthias squamipinnis) swim across a deep plateau at Elphin stone, a popular dive site in the area. This offshore pinnacle with multiple plateaus and canyons as you descend deeper, is in deep water and attracts large pelagic predators such as the oceanic white tip and scalloped hammerhead sharks.
